Ercol Windsor Collection

This is the Ercol Windsor collection of Ash furniture which is made at the Ercol Furniture factory in Princess Risborough, Buckinghamshire.  The collection consists of many different pieces from large sideboards, dining tables and chairs, corner cabinet, tv cabinets, coffee tables, bookcases and nests. All this means that you can easily furnish your whole living room, dining room, or entire ground floor with matching furniture.

The range is available in four colours called Clear,Straw, Light and Golden Dawn.

 These are just some of the pieces made in this collection.

 The 1138 Penn Dining Chair, which can be made as a standard chair or carver chair and also in a wide choice of different seat fabrics.

 The 1153 Magazine Rack with a useful flat table top.

 The 1159 Windsor Nest of 3 Tables. These can stand inside of each other, or you can seperate them and distribute them around the room as you desire.

 The 1193 extending dining table. This has a central butterfly style opening leaf so you can slide the two ends outwards and add more guests around the table. There is also a larger version of this table called the 1194.

 This three drawer and three cupboard sideboard has model number 3822. Each of the doors has a turning handle catch, and one of the drawers is divided into three sections to create a cutlery drawer. However if you wish these can be removed easily to make a full open drawer instead.

 The 3830 is one of the Infa Red TV cabinets. The Magic eye on the left hand side catches the signals from your remote control and then transfers them inside of your cabinet and scatters them out to the equipment inside. So this means that you can control the DVD player, Blueray Player, Sky box or other AV equipment without opening the doors.

 The largest of the Windsor IR TV cabinets is the 3831 which features the double cupboard area as well as two additional drawers on the left hand side.

 The 3832 open fronted TV cabinet which has a full width storage drawer across the base and an adjustable/removable shelf across in the upper section.

 For the corner of your room you can have this 3833 tv cabinet, which has adjustable shelves inside and hinged glass doors.

 This is the larger of the Windsor bookcases, model 3841, but if need a smaller one, that is fine as there is the lower version which is model number 3840 bookcase.

 The 3856 Windsor corner display cabinet. Useful for storage and display, but as the top section illuminates you can also use it for mood lighting in your room.

 The fabulous Ercol Windsor Bureau which is model number 3860 and has stacks of storage inside it's various compartments.

 The Hall Console Table with a storage drawer and low shelf is model number 3865 but if you don't have enough room for this then you always have the 3866 Lamp table instead.

There are options of fixed top or storage coffee tables in the Windsor ash collection. The largest fixed top one is the 3867 that features a lower shelve. However if you want a lot of storage then 3868 supper storage table will give you this. A lifting lid on a cantilever system so you can get all that clutter out of the way without any problem. You can even use the table top as a working desk top or to eat a meal from.

New Parker Knoll Chairs & Sofas for 2015

A couple of new ranges for 2015 from Parker Knoll. These are two new launches which are made in the full collections of Parker Knoll Fabrics and Leathers.

This is the new Parker Knoll Newark collection of sofas and chairs, and as you can see is the sort of upholstery that you snuggle down and into. A real comfy family sofa, and you have the choice of either a full scatter back or a formal back. All cushions are reversible (in fabrics) and there is a choice of seat interiors of encore or easycare foam, and in the backs either fibre or feather. There are small corner feet on each settee or chair and these can be in Cherry, Teak or Mahogany shades.

There is one model of Newark chair but with the sofas you have options of Grand, Large 2 Seater, 2 Seater size sofas.

Then we have the Seaton range, which is a deep and sumptuous sofa and chair collection suite, made in many many fabrics and leathers.

 These sofas come as 3 seater, large 2 seater and small 2 seater sizes and all these are available with matching or coordinating scatters cushions. There are options with the interiors as usual from Parker Knoll but also the legs can be in different wood shades and with the option of with or without casters on the front ones.

 The Seaton Armchair has the same arm design as the sofas and this has a neat pleated effect along with piping attractively sweeping around the edges of the furniture.

New Sofas, Chairs, Corners Suites and Recliners from Sherborne for 2015

We are nearly half way through the year and the Sherborne upholstery new launches are doing very well. Two distinctly different designs. The Picasso and the Ashford, incorporating the Ashford Knuckle option..

The Sherborne Picasso 

 
 The Picasso is a collection of sofas which can also be made into a corner group. It has clean lines and a modern contemporary design. Due to the sectional natural of the suite you can technically make the sofa as long as you wish by adding in as many "armless sections" as you require.

 Stand alone sofas are also part of the collection as well as fixed chairs. There is a comfortable padded arm as well as a high and angular looking back, with a high seam that creates great comfort to the back and the shoulders.

When fully reclined the Picasso recliner chair will support you at your most relaxed. A chaise style seat and footplate support the back of the legs so your muscles can really relax, and so that there are no hard edges pushing into your calves. The recliner has options of manual action, power action or if you have no electrical sockets nearby a rechargeable power recliner. The recliner can be specified either on plastic studded feet, or on casters.

A large range of fabrics are available for the Sherborne Picasso sofas and chairs, so we can always find a colour that matches with your home decor. There is also the option of light ot dark wood for the low corner feet.

The Ashford and Ashford Knuckle

The Sherborne Ashford is a much more traditional design of suite, it features winged backs and scroll arms as well as a high double seamed back cushion. A roll over front cushion edge is part of the chaise seat design which really works well in a recliner chair or recliner sofa. 

Available as a three seater or a two seater size sofa these are sectional items so access to your room through smaller hallways or doorways should not be an issue.

Three sizes of recliner are made in the Ashford collection, and these can be with either powered or manual operations. However if you require the Powered Lift and Rise version of this recliner then there is an additional smaller size available called the petite Ashford.

The whole Ashford range is available with the additional optional of a knuckle at the front of the arm to assist when getting in and out of the chairs or sofas. These can be coloured in either light oak or dark beech shades. There is a small extra charge for the knuckle version, but it can be an invaluable extra feature for those with impared mobility.

New Old Charm Sofas and Chairs for 2015

These are the brilliant new upholstery designs of sofas and chairs from "Wood Bros Old Charm Furniture" for 2015. The Hemsby and the Weybourne upholstery collections! These two new ranges are available in a wide choice of Old Charm Upholstery fabrics, as well as the full range of 8 wood shades.

The Hemsby sofas and chairs, have a high and supportive buttoned back cushion along with an angled and shaped arm, with a T shaped seat cushion design.

Hemsby range chairs and sofas have a turned leg design and a neatly stitched corner seam. The whole collection also has a reversible seat and back cushions as well as complimentary scatters cushions.

 

This Hemsby range is made as : single armchair, medium sofa, large sofa and even a love seat. So this means that there will always be a suitable size item for your room.

The Weybourne collection is made in a different styling to the Hemsby, but still with all the qualities you would expect from Old Charm furniture.

The Old Charm Weybourne collection features the option of a wooden facing all the way up the arm fronts, or an upholstered arm facing. Across the front of the upholstery as well as around the sides there are wooden plinths and from each corner the turned legs with the square carved design. Again sofas can be made in different sizes and there is an armchair option.

There is a wide choice of fabrics available across the Weybourne upholstery collection, from traditional floral patterns to contemporary plains and stripes. The Weybourne collection features reversible seat and back cushions as well as a shaped arm design which increases in height as it leads toward the rear of the sofas and chairs.

Compact Chloe Collection by G Plan Upholstery

This is one of our most popular Sofa ranges of 2015. Yes, the Chloe collection from G Plan has been made for a long time, and we have customers who have had one for years, and then replaced it with another. However this Compact Chloe has opened up this collection of chairs, sofas and recliners to a whole new group of customers. So, if you have restricted space in your home, or if you are of a shorter stature then maybe, just maybe this is the right suite for you !

The fabric Chloe as shown here can be made in a huge selection of fabrics, and has reversible seat cushions with zipped into place back cushions and  arm pads.

The Compact Chloe 3 seater sofa in leather has a shallower seat depth, and a lesser overall width, but still with the same superb levels of comfort.

Recliner sofas can be double sided or single sided with either power or manual recliner actions.

Chloe Sofas can be ordered as three seater or two seaters as fixed or recliners in both leather and fabric and also standard or compact sizes.
